Social Media Work
Blick Artist Materials Bethesda (formerly Plaza Art) is one of the 70+ physical locations for the USA's largest art supply retailer. After a successful year of exceeding sales goals, prioritixing customer-centricity, and streamlining store operations, the management team was looking to improve online presence.
Since my stepping into the role of Social Media Coordinator & Content Manager for the store's Instagram page, there has been a considerable upwards trend in impressions, engagement, follower count, and interactions.
[SOMEWHERE HERE i wanna include that I work here but i volunteered to do this. I just couldnt figure out a smooth way to work it in. everything i typed sounded too clunky. I wanna make sure that's clear tho because 1. concerning any imperfections/something a social media manager wouldnt really miss, it's clear that I'm new to this (relatively) and not being paid for it 2. post frequency is heavily limited by my working a full time job and barely having time to post on the clock]

DUTIES
Conducting market research to take advantage of industry trends and better understand our customer base.
Creating engaging and visually appealing video and photo content (product photoshoots, staff pick items, store updates, story polls/community engagement, artist features, etc)
Analyzing weekly & monthly recap data to identify optimal post content, time, duration, and more.
Ensuring that all content is created collaboratively or reviewed with upper management to uphold brand standards and the Blick voice.
I think this section looks bad center aligned but everything else in every other page is center aligned. Trying to figure out if spacing or something has more to do with that than anything else.
PLANNING
I created a content calendar for each month, to optimize the page's organization while facilitating collaboration and review.
RESULTS
[this is where I'm stuck on what to say/how to word it. should i restate what i said in my intro or should i reword it with more buzzwords. below is placeholder lol]
Increase across the board. Increase in followers. Increase in views and engagement.
